Orogen reads the streams your wells and surveys already produce — and turns them into a briefed queue.

Orogen runs against the connectors your geoscience stack already publishes to: SLB TruLink and Stream for continuous seismic survey ingestion, WITSML for live well telemetry — and it sits alongside Petrel and DecisionSpace, never replacing them.

Fair-comparison page. Product names appear in context — affiliation with SLB TruLink, Stream, WITSML, Petrel, DecisionSpace is not implied.

Architecture

From source stream to briefed queue — three boxes, two connectors.

Each connector reads from a stream your stack already publishes. The Orogen layer stages, correlates, and detects. The squad queue is the deliverable — routed to the team that owns the call.

Source stack → Orogen → squad queue, anchored on SLB TruLink, Stream, and WITSML connectors. Three streams in, three deliverables out — the loop is continuous.

Source stack on the left publishes SLB TruLink and Stream for continuous seismic survey ingestion, plus WITSML for live well telemetry. Orogen in the middle stages volumes via a volume register and trace stamp, samples telemetry into a per-well cohere vector, runs the fleet of small agents, and writes a briefed queue. Squad queue on the right routes deliverables to Exploration, Completions, or Operations.

Per-connector

What each connector reads, and at what cadence.

Connector · Well telemetry

WITSML — live well telemetry, per-second sampling.

WITSML · store + transfer

WITSML streams the well’s pressure, rate, ESP load, flowline temperatures, and SIBR channels second-by-second. The agent samples each curve into a single per-well cohere vector and binds it to the survey stream from the seismic connector above it.

Existing-tool fit · Petrel, DecisionSpace

Orogen sits alongside Petrel and DecisionSpace — reads the streams your wells and surveys already produce.

Reading SEG-Y volumes, interpreted horizons, and well telemetry out of the stack your geoscientists already trust, and turning them into a ranked, briefed queue. Orogen is an always-on agent layer in the channel your team uses — it does not replace the desktop where the calls get made.

Walk the pipeline →

What flows in / what flows back

Three streams in. Three deliverables out.

Each row is a continuous loop — a stream in from your existing stack on the left, a deliverable routed to the squad that owns the call on the right. The cadence matches the moment of delivery, not the report format.

In

What flows in

Streams your stack already publishes. SEG-Y volumes, AVAZ channels, per-second well telemetry — read continuously as they arrive.

Out

What flows back

Briefs, reports, and alerts — routed to the squad that owns the call, in the channel they already use, the moment a threshold trips.

SLB TruLink + Stream (continuous)

Newly arrived SEG-Y volumes and AVAZ channels staged into the volume register within seconds of the survey feed landing.

Prospect briefs

Auto-written, geoscientist-readable. Routed to the Exploration squad the moment an anomaly threshold trips on the cohere vector.

SLB Stream AVAZ channels (continuous)

AVAZ-by-AVAZ bin updates bound to the survey stream from the connector above, ranked against offset production.

Weekly reservoir reports

One-page summary per reservoir, every cycle. Pressure transients, drainage drift, recompletion candidates — routed to Completions.

WITSML transients (per-second)

Per-second pressure, rate, ESP load, flowline temperatures, and SIBR channels sampled into a cohere vector and watched for excursions.

Drilling-risk alerts

Pore-pressure excursions, lost-circulation precursors, bit-vibration spikes. Pushed to Operations the instant a threshold trips.

Ground truth

Each connector cell above is sourced from the /how-it-works pipeline walk and the SLB TruLink, Stream, and WITSML descriptions published by SLB and the Energistics consortium. Vendor-side claims describe each platform’s category positioning — for the specific capabilities and product details, refer to current vendor materials. We do not scrape competitor marketing copy, and this page makes no claims about connectors we haven’t independently verified.
